Happy Birthday to our two furry girls who are twelve years old today ! 
Macy and Milly have been with me since they were just 8 weeks old and we’ve had many an adventure together. Macy is all black and Milly is Jellicle-style, black and white. They’re home loving cats who enjoy sunbathing on the benches in the garden or snoozing under a bush. They explore our neighbours gardens, scampering over fences and tight-rope walking along fence tops. They come out to say goodbye when I’m going out of the house and they’re waiting on the path as they hear me come home. Evenings have become their favourite time of day, when little Happies are in bed Macy and Milly can each find a lap to snuggle asleep. I love my cats
Sadly, our dear Milly is at the Vets this week with a kidney problem, so she is not celebrating her birthday with us. If you were a follower of my previous blog, you’ll know she was seriously ill with acute kidney failure two years ago. All the blog pals way back then, rooted for dear Milly and checked in daily to see how she was doing – which helped me immensely and I’m still grateful for that virtual love.
Now, please send some more love to my dear girl, as she is very ill again. I hope to be able to visit her today, if the Vet believes it won’t distress her. I’m also hoping for a referral to the specialist Vet who was able to bring her to health last time.
So if you have a moment, and I know we all have tricky things to deal with, please say a little prayer for Milly so that she can soon come home for a belated birthday celebration.
